About the Opportunity

Fusion Medical Staffing-Home Health is seeking a skilled Home Health Registered Nurse to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Job Summary

This is a Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) shift position, requiring the ability to provide medical care in the privacy of patients' homes, with frequent driving to multiple patients' homes daily.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments of patients and document findings accurately.
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications as ordered, with meticulous documentation.
  • Deliver medical care in the comfort of patients' homes, requiring adaptability and flexibility.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time, if required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • One year of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least six months of recent Home Health experience.
  • Current RN License.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • Valid auto insurance.
  • Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and possess PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (up to 25 lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
