The Surgical Technologist position at Intermountain Health is a critical member of our surgical team. As a Sterilization Expert, you will be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment during surgical procedures. Your attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team will be essential in providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during operations
- Participate in safety plans and protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- BLS certification for healthcare providers
- Completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician program (ORT) or equivalent training
- Minimum two years of experience in hospital or military surgical services
