Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical and clinical duties in the cardiac catheterization lab.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor cardiac rhythm, hemodynamic waveform, and provide detailed documentation during routine and complex cardiology procedures.
  • Provide monitoring during cardiogenic shock, acute MI, and cardiac arrest.
  • Interpret EKG rhythm disorder and hemodynamic abnormalities.
  • Become familiar with EKG and hemodynamic waveform recognition.
  • Maintain responsibility for proper patient records and procedure logs.
  • Charge and complete all required documentation for procedures.
Requirements
  • 2 Year Degree in an allied health field from an accredited school or equivalent.
  • CPR Certified, ACLS within 1 year.
  • One year Cath Lab or related health care experience preferred.
