Telehealth Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Telehealth Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Telehealth Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by monitoring and interpreting vital signs data from patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic bedside care to patients
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays
  • Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify appropriate medical team members
  • Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology

Requirements:

  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification
  • NIH certification
  • 2 years of experience in acute care

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
