Forklift Mechanic Job Description

Quad is seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team at our Lomira, WI location. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts, electric carts, pallet jacks, boom lifts, and other industrial equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and documentation.
  • Adjust, repair, and replace parts and components as needed.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems for proper performance.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a forklift mechanic or in a related position.
  • Strong electrical and troubleshooting knowledge and experience in control wiring and DC motor controls.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
