Career Opportunity: CV Rad Technologist

The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled and dedicated CV Rad Technologist to join their team in the cardiovascular department. This role involves preparing equipment, providing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment.


This position requires certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) and basic life support training. Previous experience in a procedural area is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to provide high-quality patient care.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
  • Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
  • Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
  • Participate in the orientation of new staff and serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.

Key Qualifications:

A graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program with one year of experience in a Cath Lab preferred. Registration from the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Certification from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
