About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at TotalMed Staffing. As an Echo Tech, you will play a critical role in performing echocardiograms using specialized ultrasound equipment to assess cardiac function and structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiograms using advanced ultrasound technology to evaluate cardiac function and identify potential issues.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot issues, and adhere to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Document procedure details, maintain patient records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- RDCS certification
- BLS certification
- 2 years of recent Echo Tech experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
