Job Summary:

Gpac is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmologist to join our team. As an Ophthalmologist with Gpac, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing a variety of eye-related procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Comprehensive Eye Exams: Conduct thorough eye exams to diagnose and treat eye disorders and diseases, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.
  • Perform Surgical Procedures: Conduct 10 surgeries per week, with 40 to 50 patients per day, including cataract extraction, LASIK, and corneal transplants.
  • Provide Pre- and Post-Operative Care: Offer pre- and post-operative care to patients undergoing eye surgery, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care for patients, ensuring seamless communication and effective treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Medical Degree: Hold a medical degree from an accredited institution and completion of a residency program in ophthalmology.
  • Board Certification: Be board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology.
  • State License: Possess an active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of California.
  • Excellent Clinical Skills: Demonstrate excellent clinical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Commitment to Patient Care: Show a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and a patient-centered approach.
