Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our emergency care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
About the RoleThis is a part-time PRN opportunity that offers flexibility and autonomy in your practice. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our skilled nursing team, utilizing your expertise to deliver compassionate and timely care to patients of all ages.
- Triage, Assess, and Treat Patients: Use your clinical skills to assess patient conditions, develop effective treatment plans, and administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Efficient Throughput Management: Understand and navigate care zones, including triage, rapid treatment area, pediatric ER, trauma, and behavioral health, to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Critical Situation Management: Demonstrate expertise in managing critical situations, making informed decisions, and responding to emergencies with precision and composure.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A graduate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution (Associate's or higher)
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice, or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
- A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
- Prior experience in emergency care settings, preferably with 2+ years of experience
