Job SummaryAs a Clinical Psychologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in providing mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to adult and child members. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical treatment programs for members with acute or chronic mental health needs.
- Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, using evidence-based practices and research methods.
- Conduct psychological assessments, including test administration, interpretation, and recommendations.
- Prepare intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
- PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health, or School Psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire.
- National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Knowledge of DSM-V, evidence-based practices, and psychotherapy research methods.
- Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
- Previous clinical experience in crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy.
- Demonstrated experience in psychological evaluations of adults, children, adolescents, and families.
- Knowledge of psychological testing techniques, administration, and interpretation.
