Job Summary:
A sleep technician at Lutheran Hospital performs comprehensive sleep testing and analysis under the general supervision of a sleep technologist and/or medical director. The role involves associated interventions and can provide supervision of a sleep trainee.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive sleep testing and analysis
• Provide supervision of a sleep trainee
• Collaborate with sleep technologists and medical directors
Qualifications:
• Licensure/Registration/Certification: CPSG within 6 months, RPSGT within 18 months, BCLS within 30 days, SAMA Level 1 within 30 days
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Experience: No experience required
• Other: Enrolled in or completed A-Step Modules, training in polysomnography accredited by CAAHEP or CoARC
