We are excited to present a distinctive opportunity for a Pediatric Clinical Psychologist who is either licensed or eligible for licensure to perform evaluations, provide service recommendations, and deliver appropriate therapeutic interventions for children and young adults.

Key Responsibilities

  • Select and administer appropriate psychological assessment tools, ensuring accurate scoring and interpretation.
  • Communicate assessment outcomes to the child, family, and relevant stakeholders with utmost respect and dignity.
  • Formulate recommendations aligned with assessment results, child and family objectives, and team consensus.
  • Design and implement effective treatment plans, including therapy and counseling.
  • Assist clients in establishing goals and strategizing actions for personal, social, educational, and vocational growth.

Work Schedule

  • Monday through Friday
  • Standard business hours
  • Opportunities for both full-time and part-time roles

Benefits Overview

This full-time position offers comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with paid time off and a 403B retirement plan. Paid time off is available from the start of employment and begins accruing immediately. As a non-profit entity, we also participate in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.

Qualifications Required

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
  • Licensed Psychologist in the State of Iowa or Provisional Psychology License (Post-Doctoral candidates are welcome).
  • Preferred: Two or more years of licensed practice experience.
  • Experience with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum is highly desirable.
  • Trauma-informed practice experience in intellectual testing, cognitive assessments, autism diagnostics, and mental health evaluations is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and navigate the work environment effectively.
  • Compliance with potential COVID-19 safety protocols will be discussed during the interview process.
