About the Role

As a Groundskeeping Specialist at Vertical Real Estate Services, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, preventative care, and maintenance of our multifamily locations. This includes the physical aspects of the building(s), HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, major appliances, and amenities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with the Community Manager to discuss upcoming needs and activities.
  • Review service requests and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Use property management software to manage move-in and move-out schedules, and assign tasks as necessary.
  • Ensure the grounds are clean and well-maintained.
  • Determine parts needed and complete purchase orders within budget parameters.
  • Conduct regular meetings with team members to ensure all pending items are handled.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a maintenance management role, preferably in a multifamily residential environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform maintenance operations and handle common area amenity tasks.
  • Familiarity with computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite and Yardi.

Compensation: Estimated salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year.
