We are seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to join our team in the inpatient setting at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. As a member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with staff, patients, and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform ED and inpatient orthopedic consults
- Provide post-operative patient care for surgery patients
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and maintain ongoing communications
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Ability to perform procedures such as joint injections and aspirations, casting and splinting, reduction of fractures and dislocations
- Imaging interoperations and the ability to diagnose and treat orthopedic conditions
- Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred
