Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing medically prescribed MRI procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI procedures on designated anatomical areas, under the direction of radiologists and supervisors.
  • Use hospital and radiology information systems to access patient information and track exams.
  • Document patient information, exam details, and machine performance data according to departmental procedures.
  • Administer IV contrast media, explain procedures to patients, and engage radiologists and/or LIP as necessary.
  • Recognize medical emergencies and notify nursing staff, PAs, and MDs immediately.
  • Assess patient information, plan procedures, and use standard procedures to identify patients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • ARRT Primary Certification/Registration
  • New York State License
