About the Role

CapB InfoteK is seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence Quality Assurance professional to join our team. As a Senior Business Intelligence Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our Data and Business Intelligence reports within the MicroStrategy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with BI technical teams and leaders to understand project requirements, testing objectives, and timelines.
  • Perform quality testing of Data and Business Intelligence reports within the MicroStrategy environment.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Work with offshore resources to support QA efforts and ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Provide expert-level guidance on SQL, BI tools, and data structures to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of Business Intelligence, Data, and ETL quality assurance and systems/application testing experience.
  • 5+ years of SQL and BI tool experience (MicroStrategy experience preferred) with a strong understanding of databases and data structures.
  • 5+ years of HP ALM experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools.
  • 7+ years of quality assurance experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as a team member supporting and working with offshore resources in support of QA.
