Atrium Hospitality is seeking a skilled and reliable Kitchen Steward to join our team at the Little Rock Embassy Suites.

Job Summary

The Kitchen Steward plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences by maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen equipment, food storage areas, walk-in fridges, freezers, ovens, and dry storage cupboards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and food storage areas
  • Manage trash and garbage, including separating recyclables
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
  • Assist with food dish-up, set-up sheets, and break-down for various events
  • Complete regular sanitization/disinfection of kitchen and food and beverage work areas

Requirements:

  • Prior related experience preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Food Safety certificate or complete training during initial 90 days
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Work Environment:

This is a part-time position that requires flexibility to work days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. You will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds regularly.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $12-$15 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a range of benefits, including daily pay, travel discounts, 401k plans, medical insurance, and more.
