About the RoleProject Touch Inc is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Welfare Residential Specialist to join our team. As a Foster Care Backup Parent Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the foster parent and filling in when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily supervision of children/youth in the group home, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to residents, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Participate in household cleaning and management, maintaining a clean and healthy living environment.
  • Transport children as needed, utilizing good judgment and safety precautions.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field (preferred) and 3 years of child welfare residential experience or H.S. Diploma/GED and 5+ years of child welfare residential experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License and ability to drive safely.
