The Medical Assistant II role at Providence Medical Group Northwest Washington involves working under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to provide patient care to assigned patients. This position requires a strong understanding of clinical needs and functions, with the ability to perform duties as directed. Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school for medical assistants or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience, and training to qualify for the WA State Certification exam.
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Six months of healthcare experience.
  • Six months of medical assistant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school for medical assistants or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience, and training to qualify for a National Certification exam.
  • National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
