We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Equipment Operator within our Street Division. This position is essential for ensuring the upkeep of our city’s roadways and pedestrian pathways.

Position Overview
  • Utilize heavy machinery, including dump trucks, boom trucks, and backhoes, for the purpose of street maintenance and construction activities.
  • Construct forms and execute concrete pouring for curbs, gutters, and sidewalks.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on all operational equipment.
  • Additional tasks may involve ditch excavation, drainage pipe installation, asphalt repairs, and various other related duties.
Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Possession of a valid Georgia Class A CDL with an impeccable driving history is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in operating heavy machinery is essential.
  • Familiarity with brick laying, concrete pouring, and basic carpentry is advantageous.
