EHS Specialist

Civica Rx is a leading organization dedicated to reducing generic drug shortages and related high prices in the United States. We are seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team and contribute to the protection of people, the environment, and property.

About the Role: The EHS Specialist will implement, manage, and improve aspects of Civica Rx's Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Program. This role requires collaboration with subject matter experts throughout the organization to ensure the protection of people, the environment, and property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain site risk registry that guides risk assessment strategy
• Evaluate risk mitigation for new and evolving tasks
• Partner with functions to establish and monitor safe work plans
• Perform inspections and audits
• Trend leading indicators to monitor the health of the programs

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum four (4) years of experience in an environmental, health, and safety role in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to coach various levels of the organization in hazard identification and risk mitigation
• Working knowledge of OSHA general industry standards and experience training staff on company and regulatory requirements
• Understanding of industrial hygiene principles
• Understanding of environmental compliance requirements

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
