POSITION SUMMARY: The role involves ensuring cleanliness and sanitation across all dining and beverage areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 40%: Maintain cleanliness in designated areas, including but not limited to the Banquet Preparation area, Pizza Station, Saucier Station, Main Cooking Line, and various other service points.
- 30%: Conduct thorough cleaning of kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, grills, coolers, and exhaust systems.
- 25%: Sanitize surfaces including walls, sinks, and floors, as well as manage waste disposal effectively.
- 5%: Ensure all waste is collected and transported to the designated disposal area.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks using approved sanitation products to meet health standards.
- Assist in cleaning and organizing various food preparation and service areas.
- Wash dishes and utensils, ensuring all items are restocked appropriately.
- Respond to special cleaning requests as needed.
- Complete other assigned tasks as directed by the supervisor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires a variety of physical activities, including:
- Frequent walking and standing.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Regular bending, reaching, and pushing/pulling.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Employees are expected to maintain a professional appearance and adhere to safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Ability to obtain necessary licenses or certifications as required.
Regular attendance and adherence to established service standards are crucial for success in this position.
