About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at The Hotel Hershey. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pastry, baked goods, and desserts for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastry and baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and breads.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance our pastry offerings.
  • Work collaboratively with our culinary team to ensure seamless execution of menu items.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and preferences.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume bakery or pastry kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry and baking techniques, including yeast dough production and decorating.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
