Registered Nurse for Clinic Operations

Pride Health is seeking a dedicated Clinic Registered Nurse for a client.
Work Schedule:
Full-time position with a 40-hour work week, typically from 8 AM to 5 PM, including one late evening per week until 7 PM, and one early shift from 8 AM to 12 PM.
Alternatively, a schedule of 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM for three shifts weekly, with one shift extending to 7 PM.
Saturday shifts from 9 AM to 1 PM on a rotating basis with other nursing staff, generally every 7th to 8th Saturday based on staffing needs.
Contract Duration: Four-month engagement.
Compensation: $42 to $46 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and document patient care, including administering injections and conducting preventive health screenings.
- Triage patients in accordance with established protocols and scheduling guidelines.
- Collaborate as part of the care team, preparing patients by gathering and recording clinical information as per established procedures.
- Provide education to patients regarding their health conditions and guide them on self-management techniques.
- Execute standing orders, such as authorizing prescription refills and ordering diagnostic tests, in line with practice policies.
- Accurately document all patient interactions and clinical activities in the electronic health record (EHR) in a timely manner.
- Conduct outreach to patients needing appointments or services, communicate test results, and follow up post-appointment to ensure adherence to care plans.
- Manage patient phone inquiries, taking comprehensive messages and routing them to providers as necessary using the EHR.
- Oversee task management to ensure timely responses to tasks, follow up on overdue orders, and monitor critical referrals.
- In collaboration with Regional Nurse Managers, complete annual CLIA competencies.
- Support the Clinical Lead and serve as a resource for other clinical staff members.
- Mentor new clinical team members.
- Maintain open communication with the care team and Regional Management.
- Stay informed about current coding, OSHA, and CLIA regulations as well as company policies.
- Adhere to all patient safety initiatives and infection control standards.
Qualifications Required:
- Current RN License.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably with pediatric and adolescent populations.
- BLS Certification.
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
- Background in a hospital or medical office setting.
