Position: Associate Laboratory Technician – First Shift

Duration: 2 Years

Location: Marysville, OH

Compensation: $19.85/hr on W2

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm (to be discussed)

Job Overview

The Associate Laboratory Technician plays a crucial role in executing routine general chemistry assessments and preparing samples in accordance with established company or official protocols. This position also encompasses various administrative responsibilities and adherence to Good Laboratory Practices.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Receive, process, and monitor analytical sample requests.
  2. Engage with project managers to gather essential information.
  3. Coordinate testing with fellow analysts in the Analytical Section.
  4. Conduct routine chemical and physical evaluations in-house.
  5. Oversee and maintain essential analytical instruments.
  6. Ensure the laboratory environment is safe and orderly.
  7. Document analytical results with precision.
  8. Adhere to the company’s Integrated Management System and all relevant policies and procedures.

Education & Qualifications

Educational Background

Possession of an Associate degree or B.S. in a Science-related discipline with one year of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma (or GED) accompanied by three years of pertinent experience.

Preferred Skills

Strong organizational and planning abilities.

Capability to accurately execute analytical methods and administrative duties.

Effective communication skills.

Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office).
