About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stockroom Associate to join our team at Meijer. As a Stockroom Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our shelves are fully stocked and our customers have access to the products they need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock food shelves with a variety of products, ensuring that they are properly labeled and facing.
  • Pull back stock and trash to the back room to the correct areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Work with management to ensure that correct areas are stocked in a timely fashion, meeting productivity and quality standards.
  • Maintain a friendly demeanor with customers, providing excellent customer service and responding to their needs in a timely manner.
  • Work night shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
Requirements
  • Adequate knowledge of computer systems and the ability to use them effectively.
  • Process-driven and able to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.
  • Ability to stay calm while working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and productivity.
  • Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis, providing excellent service and building strong relationships.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lb boxes and handle product in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Knowledge of the operation of a fork lift and pallet jack is a plus.
