Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Support: Engage in all aspects of production, including receiving, shipping, line operation, parameter adjustments, lab testing, packaging, and inventory management.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Technical Repairs: Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs as necessary, leading both minor and major maintenance projects.
  • System Installation: Oversee the installation, modification, and troubleshooting of high and low voltage power systems and specialized electrical systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records on log sheets and reports, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with external contractors and coordinate maintenance activities with production management.
  • Training: Mentor fellow team members on proper manufacturing procedures and safety protocols.
  • Facility Upkeep: Participate in the maintenance of facility grounds and buildings, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; further education is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with operational software.
  • Forklift operation experience is required.
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to operate production and warehousing equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics.
  • Understanding of electrical systems, including single and three-phase configurations.
  • Experience with PLC systems is a plus.
