The Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics, a top pediatric hospital, seeks an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team in the Emergency Department. This is a full-time position consisting of four 8-hour shifts per week with a variable schedule including day, evening, and overnight shifts.

The APRN will provide comprehensive, evidence-based advanced practice nursing care to address the physiologic, psychosocial, and developmental needs of patients and families within the framework of the collaborative practice agreement. Responsibilities include completing thorough history and physical assessments, ordering/interpreting lab tests, developing differential diagnosis, implementing plans of care, and coordinating the disposition process.

This role requires a Master's Degree in Nursing and 1-2 years of experience as a Pediatric RN. Additionally, the successful candidate must be licensed as an APRN in Kansas and Missouri and have board certification congruent with population and practice setting.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience. Benefits at Children's Mercy include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
