Job Summary

The Cage Cashier is responsible for managing cash transactions, balancing bank drawers, and maintaining confidentiality of casino cage transactions. This role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage cash transactions, including chip, ticket, and check transactions
  • Balance bank drawers and maintain accuracy throughout the balancing process
  • Maintain confidentiality of casino cage transactions
  • Issue and cash wagering tickets, as well as make sure appropriate materials are fully stocked
  • Support slot machine ticket redemption transactions and other currency and check transactions
  • Perform Front Window, Rolling Cage, VIP Cage, Team Member Bank, Chip Bank, and Main Bank functions and duties
  • Redeem slot machine payout tickets, TITO, vouchers for cash, or cash equivalent
  • Perform patron account transactions, including safe keeping, front money deposits, and withdrawals
  • Handle chip transfers between front windows, chip banks, and Main Bank
  • Maintain accurate and legible balance sheets
Requirements
  • 21 years of age or above
  • Will be required to obtain and maintain a Gaming Level license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission
  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Casino or cash handling experience preferred
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, a plus
  • Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent attention to detail
