Job Summary

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team at ISUDT. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential services to patients, including assessments, clinical interventions, and counseling.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments and provide clinical interventions, including counseling, to patients within the MFT practice limits.
  • Collaboration and Care Planning: Collaborate with other professionals to contribute to care planning and coordinate interdisciplinary care.
  • Transitional Care Planning: Assist in transitional care planning, connecting patients with community resources upon release.
  • Counseling and Education: Assess and deliver intervention, education, and counseling services in marriage, couples, family, and individual contexts, with specific solution-focused therapeutic goals.
  • Substance Use Disorder Services: Administer Cognitive Behavior Therapy for individuals with Substance Use Disorders, both individually and in groups, to modify behaviors.
  • Assessment and Documentation: Conduct assessments for patients preparing for release, review patient records, gather data, and complete necessary documentation.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Make recommendations to care teams, foster effective communication, and collaborate with patients and other disciplines.
Requirements
  • California MFT License: Valid and active California Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
  • Experience: At least 12 consecutive months of performing similar services within the last 3 years.
  • Certifications: Must have the required certificates relevant to the assigned specialized area.
Work Environment

This is a long-term contract position at a correctional facility in Corcoran, California. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8A-4:30P, with a rate of $2,520/40-hours.
