Position Overview:
The Practical Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering safe and effective patient care through nursing interventions. This position encompasses a variety of clinical and administrative responsibilities associated with both direct and indirect patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide direct nursing care and support to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Licensed Physician, Physician Assistant, or Advanced Practice Nurse.
2. Execute the care plan by delivering essential nursing services in line with the LPN scope of practice.
3. Conduct phlebotomy procedures as required.
4. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to contribute to the care plan.
5. Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including wound care and respiratory therapies, utilizing appropriate medical equipment.
6. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program

Certifications:
- Valid state licensure as an LPN
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (preferred, not mandatory)

Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical patient care experience in an acute care environment, long-term care facility, or physician practice (preferred, not mandatory)
- 1 year of experience in an acute rehabilitation setting (preferred, not mandatory)

Training:
- Familiarity with EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) system (preferred, not mandatory)
