Banquet Captain

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Banquet Captain to lead our banquet efforts and ensure the highest level of service to our guests. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the entire banquet staff, coordinating events, and ensuring that all aspects of the banquet service meet or exceed customer expectations.

• Analyze Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure accurate execution of events
• Effectively communicate with customers, managers, and associates to ensure seamless event execution
• Attend BEO meetings to discuss event details and ensure a smooth execution
• Conduct monthly departmental meetings and pre-shift meetings with staff to review functions, procedures, and assignments
• Assemble and disassemble the banquet service area before and after meal service
• Ensure the banquet service area remains well-stocked and organized at all times
• Receive and direct beverage orders to the kitchen as needed
• Clear and sanitize tables, countertops, and floors after each meal service
• Coordinate the quality of food service between cooking staff and floor staff

• Ability to anticipate and meet the needs of guests, acknowledging their requests and providing excellent guest service

• Ability to validate customer IDs and monitor beverage consumption
