RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This is a per diem opportunity, with no weekends or holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing radiation therapy
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' responses to treatment and report any adverse reactions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
- Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Med-Surg, ER, or Outpatient Department
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN degree
- Oncology experience
Compensation and Benefits:
RWJBarnabas Health offers a competitive base rate of $50.00 to $68.00 per hour, dependent on experience, education, and skills.
