Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Audio Systems Architect to join our Platform Audio team at Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC. This exciting opportunity will allow you to drive the design and implementation of audio technology for next-generation PlayStation products. Your work will contribute to the development of system libraries used in current and future PlayStation systems, changing the way audio is used worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop audio systems and frameworks using C and C++ programming languages
  • Collaborate with international counterparts to achieve project and department goals
  • Lead architecture design and development of audio systems and frameworks
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in systems-level programming using C and C++
  • Experience with operating system concepts such as threading, system calls, and interrupt handling
  • Familiarity with source control systems and software build systems (Git/CMake)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with embedded system development
  • Understanding of digital signal processing concepts (sampling, Fourier transform, convolution, digital filter theory)
