Position: Warehouse Training Specialist

SHIFT: 6am-4:30pm (Monday-Thursday) - Flexibility is essential during peak periods for additional hours and varied schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safety training to warehouse personnel on established protocols, procedures, and operational instructions.
  • Design and implement training programs, tailoring corporate materials to meet specific site requirements.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees and assist in evaluating performance and training needs.
  • Motivate and empower staff to enhance job performance, efficiency, and quality benchmarks.
  • Certify Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) operators and maintain current training documentation.
  • Conduct assessments on the floor and refine training processes to improve overall effectiveness.
  • Employ various training techniques to optimize learning outcomes and engage in trainer excellence initiatives.
  • Occasionally perform PIT Operator duties, ensuring workplace safety and compliance with 5S standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in training or leadership roles.
  • A strong enthusiasm for learning and teaching, with forklift training certification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal formats, particularly in training contexts.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
  • Proven leadership abilities and the capacity to inspire and guide others.
  • Detail-oriented with knowledge of compliance standards.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution, problem-solving, and customer service.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse environment.
  • Comfortable operating heavy equipment and adept at managing multiple priorities.

  • Reliable attendance is vital to fulfill operational demands and productivity goals.
  • Compliance with assigned work schedules is required.
  • Overtime may be necessary to accommodate business requirements.
