About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sponsored Funds Manager to join our team at the Johns Hopkins University. This is a key position that will play a critical role in managing financial and administrative activities related to sponsored federal, non-federal/private grants, contracts, and agreements.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently on a variety of grants/contracts that range from simple to moderately complex.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage all aspects of sponsored funds, including pre-award and post-award functions.
  2. Develop and maintain budgets for sponsored projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness of content.
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines, regulations, and policies.
  4. Partner with departmental faculty and/or budgetary staff and the Office of Research Administration to plan and develop application submissions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Two years of administrative/budgeting experience
  • Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula
