LanceSoft is seeking a skilled Per Diem Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Per Diem RRT, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and peak flow measurements.
- Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- 2+ years of experience in respiratory care, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
