Position Overview
As a vital member of the Integrative Medicine team, the Acupuncturist provides therapeutic acupuncture services aimed at alleviating various physical and emotional ailments while promoting overall wellness.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical and mental health to determine suitable acupuncture treatments.
+ Develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's unique medical needs.
+ Ensure all procedures are performed in a safe and hygienic environment.
+ Communicate treatment plans and procedures to patients prior to sessions, ensuring they are well-informed and comfortable.
+ Gather and respond to patient feedback throughout the treatment process.
+ Assist in preparing patients for acupuncture sessions and supervise their transport as necessary.
+ Maintain a respectful and ethical approach in all patient interactions, documenting treatments and progress notes promptly.
+ Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the Integrative Medicine team to enhance patient care.
Qualifications
+ Candidates must possess the necessary skills and competencies as evaluated by the hiring manager.
+ Certification in CRT-Specialty is required, with a focus on Women's Health preferred.
+ A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a medical setting is desirable.
