Our Team

As one of the largest Exchange operators globally, Cboe's Linux Systems team is tasked with maintaining and enhancing servers, storage, operating systems, and configurations for all trading environments. We are seeking passionate engineers to join our international team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure system health ahead of each trading day
  • Lead the Linux Systems team in infrastructure projects
  • Effectively communicate project requirements to relevant stakeholders
  • Implement up-to-date systems management techniques globally
  • Promote automation to reduce administrative tasks
  • Develop scalable monitoring systems for performance and capacity metrics
  • Play a pivotal role in research and development initiatives
  • Collaborate with development teams on capacity scaling and performance optimization

Requirements:

  • Over 3 years of experience managing large enterprise environments
  • Proficiency in Linux command line operations
  • Strong background in configuration management
  • Knowledge of software engineering methodologies and scripting languages
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Capacity to work an offset workweek (Tuesday - Saturday)

What We Offer

Cboe adheres to the New York City Human Rights Law by setting a minimum base salary range for roles in New York City. The starting base salary for this position in New York City ranges from $92,000 to $151,800 and may vary based on factors like location and experience. Additional compensation and benefits are also available.
