Job Summary

The Sales Lead will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our store. This individual will work closely with the Store Manager and sales team to achieve sales goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Embody our company culture and values, providing a best-in-class customer experience
  • Actively engage customers in new and meaningful ways, providing knowledge on our products and services
  • Drive customer engagement through store events, promotions, and community projects
  • Provide training and feedback to sales team members on customer experience and performance expectations
  • Work with the Store Manager to inspire sales team members to meet and exceed individual and team performance goals
  • Maintain store merchandising guidelines to ensure a seamless customer shopping experience
  • Participate in feedback and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the business
  • Meet and exceed sales objectives, maintaining high levels of productivity, efficiency, and quality standards
  • Serve as a resource for general product knowledge to customers and sales team members
  • Maintain personal sales and achieve sales goals
  • Maintain all safety and security standards, identifying and communicating potential issues

Requirements

  • 1-year minimum of work experience in a retail environment, with prior retail management experience a plus
  • Knowledge and familiarity of active lifestyle choices, such as yoga, cycling, Pilates, weight training, running, and nutrition
  • Ability to socially interact with customers, employees, and business partners
  • Ability to work with large teams and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • High degree of comfort dealing with ambiguity, taking initiative when opportunities arise
  • Familiarity with retail inventory and P.O.S. systems
  • Self-motivated, good communicator, and ability to bring out the best in others
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and work well under pressure
  • Flexibility in work hours, open to working evenings, weekends, and national holidays
