Job Overview

Shearer's Foods is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Training and Qualification Coordinator. This role is responsible for developing and implementing training strategies, plans, and processes to support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the effectiveness of the workforce.
  • Partner with operations to develop, facilitate, and supervise training programs for employees.
  • Implement training and development plans, facilitating a wide variety of training programs.
  • Manage packaging metrics via scorecards and data, reporting out weekly.
  • Participate in Orientation and Onboarding as needed.
  • Lead the Packaging Trainer Program, including content, delivery, and trainer development.
  • LMS management for online learning, including passwords, assignments, and proving reports.
Requirements
  • 3 years minimum in a technical production role, qualified in more than one processing or skilled production role is preferred.
  • Fluid in Excel, Word, and able to manage LMS programs.
  • Ability to problem solve, research for data to prove error or improvement, utilize various metric platforms, and follow up on findings.
  • Self-motivated and able to work flexible hours.
  • Ability to make action plans against needed or role gaps.
