Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Duties: Perform and manage IV insertions, explain procedures to patients, record patient answers, and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Patient Support: Assist patients with diagnostic procedures, provide physical support, and ensure patient safety.
  • Patient Care: Offer compassionate care, educate patients, and coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow established safety protocols, adhere to company policies, and report any complications or concerns.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures, provide clear instructions and explanations to patients, and maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications
  • Licensure: Current LPN license in Virginia.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience, with IV insertion experience preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in IV management, strong communication, and organizational skills.
  • Certifications: BLS certification required; ACLS certification is a plus.
  • Additional Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, compassionate and patient-focused care, ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, and a high level of attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift/move patients or equipment, stand/walk for extended periods, and handle medical tools.
