About the Role

V2X is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team of experts in developing advanced systems for spectrum sharing, spectrum control, interference deconfliction, and automated system control. As a Systems Engineer at V2X, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and documenting complex systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Design and Development: Work with Navy and V2X engineering and software development teams to document and depict system architecture and system interactions.
  • Requirements Negotiation: Negotiate options with the system requirement trade-space to optimize system capability vs cost.
  • Customer Collaboration: Work closely with the customer to ensure the system design, as depicted, meets the customer's requirements.
  • Documentation and Briefings: Work with junior MBSE staff to document systems in CAMEO and prepare briefings and presentations to discuss all levels of system design.
  • Complex System Documentation: Work with the V2X engineering and software team to document, in detail, the functionality and require interconnections of complex systems.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate and bring value to customer and internal meetings and discussions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 5 or more years of Systems Engineering experience.
  • Clearance: Must have an active US DoD TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Agile Software Development: Experience with agile software development or other agile projects.
  • MBSE Experience: MBSE experience with software suites such as CAMEO.
  • DoD Frameworks: Experience working with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Standard Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI), DoD acquisition processes, and architectural products for interoperability among the DoD components.
  • Navy C4ISR Systems: Experience with Navy C4ISR systems.
