PRN - Variance in Schedule:
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform all tasks associated with drug procurement, distribution, and record-keeping to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Promote the safe, effective, and efficient use of pharmaceutical products, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Current Pharmacist License as issued by the relevant state board of pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required, or higher.
- In-depth knowledge of hospital pharmacy practices and procedures is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills, as well as strong oral and written communication skills, are required for effective collaboration and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate and timely decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a PGY1 Residency program is preferred for new graduates.
- Experience in unit dose distribution and IV admixture/compounded sterile products is highly valued.
