Your Role:
As the Manager of Quality Assurance Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in establishing a premier quality department and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. Your leadership will ensure that we maintain industry-leading quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust quality management systems, including receiving inspections and supplier quality management.
- Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance team, fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding quality issues, corrective actions, and audits.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 through successful certification audits.
- Utilize data to track and report on key quality performance indicators, driving improvements in yield and reducing scrap rates.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Management within a regulated manufacturing environment, particularly in aerospace and defense.
- Proven expertise in quality standards and methodologies, including lean and Six Sigma principles.
