Automotive Mechanic

Job Description:

Shottenkirk Davis Honda is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a part of our state-of-the-art shops, you will have access to cutting-edge technology and tools to enhance your skills and expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair all areas and systems of assigned vehicles.
• Work with team members to accurately document recommendations, diagnoses, and repairs performed.
• Stay up-to-date with manufacturer's updates and training.
• Perform road tests and quality control of all work performed.
• Responsible for keeping the shop area neat and clean, and accounting for all dealership-owned tools at all times.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Proficiency with tools and mechanical aptitude.
• Possess ability to accurately diagnose mechanical automotive problems and make recommendations.
• Factory training, ASE certifications, or prior dealership experience is a plus.
• Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
• Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
