Job Summary

At S&H Steel Co., Inc., we are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating various machines and tools to manufacture precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing Specifications: Carefully review drawings, charts, and samples to ensure a thorough understanding of part requirements.
  • Manufacturing Planning: Develop a plan of action to manufacture parts according to specifications, ensuring timely completion and quality.
  • Equipment Setup and Operation: Set up and operate machinery, including power tools, CNC lathes, and mills, to complete each step of the manufacturing process.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Strong Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and precision in your work.
  • Basic Windows Applications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • CNC Experience: Familiarity with CNC lathe and mill operations, including G-code programming.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Self-motivated and able to work independently.
