Position Summary: Assess and treat neuromusculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory systems by physical or mechanical means to maintain or restore function that has been impaired by injury or disease for pain management and for promotion of mobility and health as prescribed by the referring physician.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor the plan of care for the person served.
  • Perform and direct administration of all physical therapy modalities.
  • Collaborate throughout the process with the patient and their family and the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements:
  • Doctorate, Masters, Bachelors, or Associates Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure and BLS certification required.
  • None required.

Physical Requirements:
  • Good physical condition.
  • Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing and walking.
  • Lifts, positions, and transfers patients and manipulates occupied equipment.
  • Lifts supplies or equipment up to 50 lbs.

Essential Functions:
  • Position: Therapist.
  • Specialty/Modality: Physical Therapy.
  • Licenses/Certifications: CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support), State License-Physical Therapist-New Mexico, NPI NUMBER.
  • Physical Abilities: From 50-100lbs.
