Tact Staff is seeking a skilled travel nurse to join their team in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry

Discipline: RN

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 12 hours

Hours per Week: 36

Employment Type: Travel

Unit Details: Overflow unit for winter census

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • MS/tele experience required
  • Telemetry experience preferred
  • Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
  • Use of rapid response teams required
  • Blood product administration required
  • Central line care/management required
  • Peripheral line care/management required
  • Nasal cannula required
  • Non-invasive airway management required
  • Isolation precautions required

Certifications: BLS and NIH required

Target Ratios: 1:6-7

Float Requirement: Floating as needed to similar units

Holiday RTO: Must work 2 of 4 (12/24, 12/25, 12/31, 1/1)

Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC (preferred)

Unit Orientation: 36 hours

Scrub Color: Navy Blue
