Job Summary

As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physical therapists and physical therapy assistants in preparing treatment areas, patients, equipment, and materials.
  • Support the development of therapeutic assessments and treatments for various sports and orthopedic pathologies.
  • Learn and implement marketing strategies and business management principles within a healthcare setting.
  • Prepare patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming, comforting, and assisting them into physical therapy apparel or equipment.
  • Provide information to patients by answering questions and addressing their concerns.
  • Help treat patients by applying heat packs and ice packs, assisting with exercises, and monitoring patient progress.
  • Educate patients on proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment by complying with protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science preferred.
  • 6 months+ related experience preferred.
  • CPR Certification preferred.
