Key Responsibilities- Assist physical therapists and physical therapy assistants in preparing treatment areas, patients, equipment, and materials.
- Support the development of therapeutic assessments and treatments for various sports and orthopedic pathologies.
- Learn and implement marketing strategies and business management principles within a healthcare setting.
- Prepare patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming, comforting, and assisting them into physical therapy apparel or equipment.
- Provide information to patients by answering questions and addressing their concerns.
- Help treat patients by applying heat packs and ice packs, assisting with exercises, and monitoring patient progress.
- Educate patients on proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment by complying with protocols and guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science preferred.
- 6 months+ related experience preferred.
- CPR Certification preferred.
